Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCB)

FIND THE RESIDUAL CURRENT CIRCUIT BREAKERS YOU NEED

RS Breakers & Controls stocks residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs) and residual current devices (RCDs) from leading global manufacturers. These specialized circuit breakers detect leakage current and provide essential ground fault protection. Our technical team is available 24/7. All previously used units are tested to ANSI and CSA standards with a detailed test report and full 2-year warranty.

More about residual current circuit breakers

Residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs) are protective devices that detect leakage current flowing to earth and automatically disconnect the circuit. Unlike GFCI circuit breakers designed primarily for personnel protection, RCCBs are available in sensitivity ratings from 10mA to 300mA or higher. These circuit breakers provide ground fault protection only — for combined protection, residual current circuit breakers with overcurrent protection (RCBOs) integrate both functions.
