We do more than recondition. Give us your MCC platform, bucket dimensions, NEMA starter size, disconnect type, control voltage and wiring scheme, and our shop custom-builds a bucket to your coordination requirements, combining fully tested circuit breakers or fusible disconnects from our inventory with new or reconditioned starters, overload relays, control power transformers and pilot devices. Reconditioned buckets go through the full advanced manufacturing sequence. Bucket structures are cleaned and repaired, and stab assemblies receive the same attention we give our bus plugs: jaws re-tensioned or replaced to restore correct contact pressure onto the vertical bus, because a bucket that seats poorly becomes a hot spot in your MCC. Interlocks, unit supports and door hardware are serviced so the bucket racks, latches and isolates exactly the way the original manufacturer intended.
Every bucket is proven on the bench before it ships. Our technicians perform complete point-to-point wiring verification against the scheme, functional checks of the disconnect and starter, and insulation resistance testing on a Megger MIT520/2 5kV tester. Power path and stab connections are measured with an AEMC 5600 micro-ohmmeter to confirm low-resistance current paths, and any circuit breaker installed in the bucket has already passed through our primary injection test bay on a Phenix HC Series high current test set. The documentation for all of it ships with the bucket.

We can rebuild a bucket with original-style components for exact like-for-like replacement, or modernize it with current NEMA starters, solid-state overload relays and updated control devices while keeping the bucket fully compatible with your existing MCC structure.
