The LA36200 is a Square D LA-frame three-pole 200-ampere molded case circuit breaker engineered by Schneider Electric for the Q4 Legacy circuit breaker platform. This I-Line plug-on breaker delivers standard interrupting capacity in a 400A frame, rated for 600 Vac / 250 Vdc. Interrupting ratings are 42 kAIC at 240 Vac, 30 kAIC at 480 Vac, and 22 kAIC at 600 Vac, with DC ratings of 10 kAIC at 125 Vdc and 10 kAIC at 250 Vdc. Equipped with a thermal-magnetic trip unit providing LI (Long-Time and Instantaneous) protection, the LA36200 features an adjustable magnetic instantaneous trip from 1000A to 2000A. This adjustability enables precise coordination with upstream and downstream protective devices for optimized selective coordination in power distribution systems. The I-Line plug-on mounting design allows for fast, efficient installation directly onto Square D I-Line panelboard and switchboard bus bars without tools for bus connection. The breaker accommodates wire sizes of (1) 1 AWG-600 kcmil or (2) 1 AWG-250 kcmil Al/Cu and features dimensions of 11.0 x 6.0 x 5.84 in with an approximate weight of 20 lbs. Built to UL 489 and CSA C22.2 No. 5.1 standards, the LA36200 is suitable for industrial, commercial, and institutional electrical distribution applications.
