The LAL26400 is a Square D LA-frame two-pole 400-ampere molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Schneider Electric as part of the Q4 Legacy circuit breaker product line. Built on a 400A frame with standard interrupting capacity, this unit mount breaker is rated for 600 Vac / 250 Vdc. It delivers interrupting ratings of 42 kAIC at 240 Vac, 30 kAIC at 480 Vac, and 22 kAIC at 600 Vac, plus DC ratings of 10 kAIC at 125 Vdc and 10 kAIC at 250 Vdc. The thermal-magnetic trip unit provides LI (Long-Time and Instantaneous) protection with an adjustable magnetic instantaneous trip range of 2000A to 3200A for precise overcurrent coordination. Designed for unit mounting with lugs (line and load), this two-pole breaker is ideal for single-phase and two-phase applications in switchboards, panelboards, and motor control centers. The LAL26400 accepts wire sizes of (1) 1 AWG-600 kcmil or (2) 1 AWG-250 kcmil Al/Cu, measures 11.0 x 4.0 x 5.84 in, and weighs approximately 25 lbs. Compliant with UL 489 and CSA C22.2 No. 5.1 standards, the LAL26400 provides dependable overcurrent protection for industrial, commercial, and institutional electrical systems.
