The LAL36400 is a Square D LA-frame three-pole 400-ampere molded case circuit breaker from Schneider Electric's Q4 Legacy product line. This unit mount breaker features a 400A frame with standard interrupting capacity, rated for operation at 600 Vac / 250 Vdc. The breaker provides interrupting ratings of 42 kAIC at 240 Vac, 30 kAIC at 480 Vac, and 22 kAIC at 600 Vac. DC interrupting capacity is rated at 10 kAIC at 125 Vdc and 10 kAIC at 250 Vdc. The integrated thermal-magnetic trip unit delivers LI (Long-Time and Instantaneous) overcurrent protection with an adjustable magnetic trip range from 2000A to 3200A, providing flexibility for various load and coordination requirements. Configured for unit mounting with lugs (line and load), the LAL36400 is designed for direct installation in switchboards, motor control centers, and custom electrical assemblies. The unit accepts conductors in the range of (1) 1 AWG-600 kcmil or (2) 1 AWG-250 kcmil Al/Cu and has dimensions of 11.0 x 6.0 x 5.84 in at an approximate weight of 25 lbs.
